The Ford Ranger has been missing from U.S. markets for eight long years and now, the Ford Ranger is back! This midsize pickup truck puts Ford in a whole new market and we, here at Don's Ford, couldn't be more excited.
Here's a few reasons why we love the Ford Ranger.
- Exterior - The Ranger is larger than its previous models, but can still be considered a midsize pickup truck. It comes with the typical tough and rugged Ranger style and is available in three trim levels, the XL, XLT, and Lariat. It will also include a FX4 Off-Road Package that will gladly whisk you away on your off-the-beaten-path adventures through the backroads of New York.
- Interior - Since it has been eight years, the Ford Ranger has seen plenty of technological and comfort advancements. FordPass Connect, 4G LTE Wi-Fi, a B&O Play premium audio system, and the SYNC® 3 multimedia system are all available along with plenty of safety programs, such as the Automatic Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Warning, Automatic Cruise Control, and many other systems.
- Power - To start, there will only be one powertrain, a turbocharged 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine. This will be paired with a standard 10-speed automatic transmission and can be combined with the Ford's Terrain Management System for even more traction and control.
- Many Other Features And Revisions - While we loved the old Ford Ranger, it's nice to see a revamped and revised version on the market. We encourage you to see what else the Ford Ranger has in store.
